Cardiology Department

Dr. Jung is a board-certified veterinary cardiologist caring for the heart health of pets in the Southern California communities. He obtained his veterinary degree from Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea. Soon after, Dr. Jung completed his residency at the University of California-Davis in Davis, CA and a cardiology fellowship at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

Dr. Jung began his early career from 2012-2018 as a clinical instructor and an associate professor at UC Davis and Auburn University in Auburn, AL, aiding in the education of the next generation of well-rounded veterinarians.

Dr. Jung is a member of many professional organizations, such as the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Heart Association (AHA), International Society for Heart Disease (ISHD), American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology), and Asian College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology).

Dr. Jung enjoys working closely with clients and primary care veterinarians to create a tailored long-term care plan as unique as your pet. He enjoys detailing clues from patient history and collecting evidence from cardiac imaging to create a robust long-term treatment plan. His clinical interests include echocardiography, arrhythmia, preventative cardiology, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, and interventional cardiology.
